Health & Safety Assurance Specialist
Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with a large, diverse organisation seeking to appoint a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Assurance Specialist. In this role you will manage a small team of advisors to drive continuous improvement in the health, safety and wellbeing culture and practice.
Ensure legal compliance across all areas of the organisation and the successful implementation of the health, safety and wellbeing corporate management system
Maintain and develop as required the organisations risk profile, including risk management and risk escalation procedures
Collaboration with colleagues and external partners to ensure continual learning’s and improvement actions
Contribute to the development and delivery of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing annual audit plan
Analyse and interpret key health, safety and wellbeing data and submit reports to senior management to ensure improvement of the organisations Health, Safety and Wellbeing performance
Deliver multiple strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing projects across the organisation
Qualified in a Level 6 qualification with Grad IOSH or CMIOSH membership
Experience of driving health and safety across a diverse and complex organisation
Demonstrable experience of managing strategic projects and operational initiatives, resulting in direct improvement to health and safety culture and performance.
