- Description
Junior Health & Safety Consultant
Swadlincote, Derbyshire | £28,000–£32,000
National travel | Occasional overnight stays
A supportive team, plenty of interesting projects and a company that wants you to grow with it. Looking for the chance to really develop your career in Health & Safety?
We're working with a growing, independent consultancy with a positive team culture, fantastic client relationships and a genuine commitment to developing its people.
From supporting small independent businesses to working on projects with some of the UK's biggest companies, you'll gain experience across different industries and environments. This is much more than auditing and compliance – you'll be involved in the full consultancy process, building relationships and helping clients find practical solutions.
And the best part? You'll be joining a team that wants you to grow and succeed and won't hold you back.
What makes this opportunity different?
- Variety: Work with a diverse range of clients on everything from risk assessments and site visits to training, specialist projects and ongoing H&S support.
- Great team culture: Join a friendly, close-knit team where people share knowledge, support each other and enjoy working together.
- Real development: Learn from experienced consultants through hands-on mentoring, training and exposure to different projects.
- Career progression: Build towards becoming a fully fledged consultant, with the opportunity to develop your own client relationships and take on more responsibility.
What we're looking for
You don't need consultancy experience, just a good foundation in health and safety and the enthusiasm to take your career further.
Ideally, you'll have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification
- Some H&S experience, either in a dedicated role or as part of wider responsibilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
- A willingness to learn, get involved and develop
- Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and flexibility for national travel
What's on offer?
£28,000–£32,000 depending on experience, ongoing training and mentoring, genuine career progression, pension, mileage and business travel expenses.
Most importantly, a supportive employer that will invest in your future and encourage your ambitions.
Interested?
If you're ready for more variety, great colleagues and a genuine opportunity to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
