Assured Safety Recruitment has been engaged by a UK based manufacturing group, who have delivered significant growth through organic (growth) and acquisitions. An opportunity has risen at one of their best performing sites within group for a Health and Safety Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team.
You will develop and deliver Health and Safety solutions based on best practice, continuing to develop the already robust health and safety management system across the site and leading and challenging site to achieve continous improvement. You will provide competent advice at all levels to ensure the highest possible standards of Health and Safety Management is achieved; leading the development and implementation of the Local Health and Safety Strategic Plan.
You will have demonstrable experience of leading and influencing employee's and SLT's, driving improvements and fostering a positive safety culture from employees to senior managers.
Ideally you will qualified to, or working towards the Nebosh Diploma or equivalent qualification. Although the group is a manufacturing group, they are open to applicants from a variety of industrial backgrounds. Key is your approach and ability to influence in a dynamic and ambitous environment.
