The Company
Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Advisor for a diverse group who operate mainly in the East Midlands. You will be tasked to develop and produce practical documentation that will be adopted and used on site.
Qualification
Qualified to NEBOSH Cert standard
Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 / ISO9001 / ISO14001
About the roleAssist in the preparation, review and approval of Site Health and Safety Plans.
Provide guidance on all aspects of safety, health, welfare and fire prevention matters.
Advise and assist in the identification of hazards and the preparation of risk assessments and safety method statements..Your experience
Candidates will need to have the following skills and experience:
Good understanding of CDM regs and how they can be practically undertaken
Experience and understanding of health, safety, quality & environmental issues in construction.
An interest in and understanding of health and safety and a willingness to promote best practice
Detailed knowledge of the construction procedures and processes.
Methodical approach to duties
Presentation skills
Ability to transmit and write reports
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced knowledge of Word. Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.
Able to deal with staff, clients and external customers.
