  A European manufacturing group had been grappling with the recruitment a Health, Safety and Environment Director. They had previously directly appointed, however the appointee left due to the complexity of the role.  We initiated a JD review, agreeing an appropriate level of experience, qualifications and behaviours.

  We were approached by a public sector organisation, to assist with a Head of Health and Safety. The vacancy had already been directly advertised twice without success, and worked on by a specialist Health and Safety Recruiter, again without success.

  Result: Focusing on behaviours and competence, we identified several new candidates from our existing database; an offer was accepted within four weeks of instruction.
