Health and Safety Auditor (Assessor)
Location: Home based role, location is flexible
Salary: Up to £28,000
Job Description
Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with an industry leading Construction Audit Group to appoint two Health and Safety Auditors (Assessors) due to continued expansion. The business works with a variety of construction related clients from large blue-chips to small SME’s. You will work as an External Assessor, auditing prospective client’s health and safety procedures and documentation against a nationally recognised standard scheme and producing reports and feedback.
You may be working as Health and Safety Coordinator, Health and Safety Advisor, Health and Safety Consultant or similar currently. Your background will include either construction or part of your role will involve auditing a variety of trade subcontractors for example some of the following; M&E, Fit-out, Heating and Electrical, Building/Property Maintenance, New Build, Scaffolding etc. If you don’t already have CDM skills there is the opportunity to develop your skills in this role. The employer will provide you with both in-house and external Assessor training and there are future opportunities to expand your skill-set and self-development through external training. This role is suited to individuals who enjoy documentation and are compliance focused, with a strong attention to detail.
Criteria
You must hold the Nebosh Certificate/Nebosh Construction Certificate or another Level 3 qualification and have two years health and safety experience.
