Are you a proactive and experienced Health and Safety professional looking for your next short-term challenge? We are seeking a Health and Safety Consultant for a prestigious, multi-site client on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile organisation with strong values, complex operations, and a commitment to safety excellence.
The Role
Working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, you will provide expert H&S consultancy across a range of sites and projects. Based two days per week at our London Head Office, with flexibility to work remotely or on client sites as needed, you’ll support compliance, drive best practices, and provide hands-on, practical advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide H&S guidance across a range of departments and locations.
- Review and improve existing policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Carry out audits, inspections, and compliance checks in line with UK legislation.
- Support senior management with strategic safety planning and reporting.
- Liaise with client site teams to ensure safety systems are understood and implemented.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide pragmatic, actionable solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (TechIOSH or CMIOSH preferred).
- Demonstrable experience in a consultancy or multi-site H&S advisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience working in corporate or high-profile environments is advantageous.
