Overview
Are you passionate about health and safety in heavy lifting operations? Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for technical documentation? We're looking for a Health & Safety Technical Report Specialist to join our dynamic client and play a key role in promoting safety excellence across lifting operations.
Responsibilities
- Compile and review detailed technical reports using your own research.
- Support the development and implementation of risk assessments, lifting plans and method statements (RAMS).
- Conduct safety reviews, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (LOLER, PUWER, HSE, ISO standards).
- Liaise with engineers, lifting supervisors, and safety officers to gather accurate field data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices within the lifting and construction sectors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a health and safety role or similar position is essential.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a health & safety or technical reporting role within the lifting, construction, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and associated legislation (LOLER, PUWER).
- Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification or equivalent H&S qualifications preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, lifting plans, and inspection data.
