Location: Nettetal, Germany
Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 Keu
Languages: Fluent German and English
The Company
Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking to recruit a on behalf of a successful fulfilment and logistics group who have established relationships with leading retail brands.
You will be a key part of the wider European SHEQ Team, helping to develop and promote the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture You will lead safety and health activities across site, investing time with employees to educate, encourage and impower them.
The role
As Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor you will provide ensure the safety all people, premises, and property, creating an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and protected.
Within this role, you’ll be actively ensuring that employees and workers are complying with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing health, safety and security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Lead the site risk reduction process
- Help facilitate the site H&S meeting with the sites GM
- Actively get involved in site incidents, identifying root causes & mitigating the risks, ensuring reporting through safety IT system.
- Monitor compliance and provide feedback / trends
- Ensure legal compliance across site.
- Recommend and help to implement measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated
About you
You will hold either a University Degree in Health and Safety or related subject or a recognised health and safety qualification. You will have previous experience as HSE Advisor in a fast-paced environment ideally logistics, retail or manufacturing.
Language and written skills in German and English.
