Homebased Health and Safety Consultant
Location: West Midlands Area

Assured Safety Recruitment is partnering with a West Midlands based Health and Safety Consultancy to manage the recruitment of a new Health and Safety Consultant. The consultancy provides health and safety consultancy services to local business's, across the West Midlands area. Previous experience as a Health and Safety Consultant is not essential, it is more important you have effective communication and relationship building skills and enjoy working with variety of people.

You will hold a minimum of a Nebosh Certificate and have experience within either the construction or manufacturing sector. This role offers the opportunity to experience a variety of industry sectors, build long term relationships and future training opportunities.
About the role
As a result of their growing client base, they are therefore seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant to join their close-knit team.
This a home-based role offering excellent work-life balance, with regular site visits to a variety of local SME clients, in the West Midlands.
Everyday can be different, you maybe auditing, writing health and safety policies, producing risk assessments, delivering health and safety training or coaching staff and managers.
Ideally you will have strong background in subcontractor auditing and management this could be in any environment. Experience within a construction/property related environment is helpful but not essential (experience of a health and safety in a construction facilities or maintenance project as part of your role is sufficient)
Your experience
Candidates will need to have the following skills and experience:
Holding or working towards a Nebosh Diploma Level 6 or equivalent
Good relationship building and communication skills
