Your location is flexible however preference will be shown to candidates close to travel networks. For ease and due to location of the sites an East Midlands or North West location would be preferred.
An experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager required first class manufacturing group covering their 19 production facilities.
Part of an aspirational brand, with strong commitments to health, safety and environment you will work closely with site management teams or in some cases Health & Safety advisors to interpret and implement group health, safety and environment policy. You will lead the companies health, safety and environmental annual plan and manage programs and initiatives across the site influencing key stakeholders across different group companies. Leading culture and driving HSE objectives.
You will have worked previously as part of a senior management team, able to demonstrate leadership of cultural change programs. Essentially you will have experience with a manufacturing / Engineering environment and hold the Nebosh Diploma or equivalent.
The role has an environmental element so you will need to have previous environmental experience however major focus in on safety and standardising systems and procedures across a complex make up of sites and activities.
We are seeking previous experience in the manufacturing sector working on a multisite basis with a track record in delivery. With the group seeking to acquire further companies to assist with growth they are seeking an individual who can prepare for this and all HSE on boarding requirements.
