A large food manufacturing group have an opportunity for an Interim HSE Advisor for large manufacturing site on the outskirts of Manchester.
This is for an initial 3 month contract, which may extend.
You will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating continuous improvement ifor the site’s HSE management systems and standards as well as;
Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and compliance.
Responsible for the investigation and review of significant accidents and incidents and the identification of solutions to prevent recurrence.
Driving close out of issues and non-conformance.
Taking an active part in the site HSE committee.
Driving the HSE agenda for the site and improvements.
Approving SOPs relating to HSE.
Providing and advising on site training as required.
Auditing, monitoring and reviewing the implementation of Health and Safety policies, working practices, safety procedures and standards.
Representing the site for regulatory health, safety & environmental authorities.
Managin the sites Accident & Incident Reporting Procedures.
Suitable candidates will have operational HSE at site level within a food manufacturing environment. You will be qualified to at least Nebosh Certificate level and be able to commence work with a maximum of a weeks notice.
