Health & Safety Consultant
Location: United Kingdom, East Midlands
Job Type: 10/12 week contract
About the company
Assured Safety Recruitment is partnering with a forward thinking construction and project management consultancy who are working on a warehouse installation project.
About the role
Acting on behalf of our client, as Health & Safety Consultant, you will collaborate with on site colleagues to ensure Health & Safety systems, processes and procedures are being adhered to.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify health and safety hazards
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety best practises
- Deliver health and safety training to employees and contractors
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for prevention
Your experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum Health & Safety qualification
- Demonstrated experience in health and safety management in the construction industry
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
