Job Title: Site Safety Advisor (Night Shift) - Contract
Location: East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grimsby **To adhere to sustainability targets, candidates must live in commutable distance to site**
Job Type: Contract, Six months, covering night shift from 7pm-7am

Company: Assured Safety Recruitment is partnering with a successful UK based contractor to source a Site Safety Advisor on a prestigious wind energy project, who will cover their night shift from the end of March 2024 for a six month period.
Job Duties:
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site during night shifts.
- Identify potential risks and hazards, and develop risk assessments to mitigate them.
- Provide guidance and advice to site personnel on safety procedures and practises.
- Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective measures are implemented.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with site management and project teams to develop and improve safety protocols.
- Ensure all safety-related documentation, including reports and records, are accurately maintained.
Required Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Health and Safety within the energy, oil and gas, or construction industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and best practises.
- Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional health and safety certifications or qualifications.
- Experience in wind energy projects.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working night shifts on a contract basis.
- Work will be conducted on-site in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grimsby area.
- The role involves frequent interaction with site personnel and collaboration with project teams.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
