About
Assured Safety Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator to join a team committed to preserving and improving health and well-being.
The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and activities within the organisation comply with the relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
• Overall awareness and compliance of the company’s Health & Safety. Making sure colleagues/customers are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol
• Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting Health & safety and safe working practices in the workplace.
• Support and maintain all risk assessments as required by legislation are reviewed at relevant intervals and maintain records of the same.
• Liaise with your manager to establish contractor’s health & safety procedures.
• Co- ordinate and manage fire safety for your department and make sure first aid is applicable
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents, and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Advise Line Manager of all incidents reportable under R.I.D.D.O.R
• To recommend and implement control measures and advice on the standards of P.P.E. issued to employees.
• Implement translation of company goals to individual goals and align efforts and outcomes
You
Exeprience is quality or compliance is required.
You will preferably hold a Science related degree and have experience of quality management systems.
