Job Title: Contract Health and Safety Advisor
Job Type: 3 months (Outside IR35)
Personal Service Company Day Rate: £250 -300 per day
Location: Dagenham
A contract Health and Safety Advisor is required to assist the Site HSE manager in the implementation of a new, site specific, health, safety and environment management system, specifically completing risk assessments and supporting and educating managers and employee's.
You will:
- Implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement new corporate management systems.
- Provide training to employees on health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of all health and safety activities.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in logistics or a related industrial field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
