Quality Manager
Location: Rotherham
Type: Perm
Leading Yorkshire based company who have out performed the market and competitors seek a Quality specialist to assist with future planned growth.
Job Summary
- Define and implement all Production Process and Quality related documentation required.
- Lead and manage the quality team to perform accurate inspection and testing duties of manufactured parts, ensuring they fulfil all internal and customer requirements.
- Continuously Improve the processes/systems and implement corrective/preventative actions to ensure product quality and reduce costs.
- Maintenance of ISO 9001/14001 standards via internal and external audits, ensuring related actions are implemented.
- Liaise with client and sub-contractor quality representatives in order to support and achieve product acceptance and handover.
- Lead, manage and mentor the quality and engineering team.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Significant experience in a Quality role encompassing manufacturing process.
- Eperience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment with experience in managing and leading a team.
- Experience of leading and implementing change.
- Ability to be concise and exact when presenting technical information / solutions.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating resolution of situations through compromise and negotiation.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Third level qualification in a relevant discipline to the role.
- Demonstrative experience in performing internal audit Certification (ISO9001).
